Surrey City Centre

North Surrey's City Centre is evolving into a pedestrian, transit-oriented downtown. There is a wonderful balance of commercial, cultural, and recreational activity. Simon Fraser University, Kwantlan Polytechnic University, and Surrey City Hall are all located in the City Centre. There are four SkyTrain stations, part of the Expo line, that come into the city. There are multiple parks and shopping locations in the City Centre.

Cloverdale

Cloverdale is a small hick town which combines older and more modern neighbourhoods, where the present and the future collide. In Cloverdale you will find the Museum of Surrey, a historic main street, and many athletic parks. The Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair is an annual event held in the neighbourhood. The largest Canada Day celebration in Western Canada is held there as well.

Fleetwood

The central neighbourhood of Fleetwood is in northern Surrey, accessible along Fraser Highway. Fleetwood is one of Surrey’s more new and developed neighborhoods. Filled with parks, restaurants, shops, and recreation options in this neighbourhood, which is largely residential. The Surrey Sport & Leisure Complex and the Fleetwood Community Centre are located in Fleetwood. Another adjacent park, Fleetwood Park, has lovely gardens and scenery.

Guildford

A fast growing neighbourhood in east Surrey near Highway 1 and the Port Mann Bridge. Guildford mall is the second-largest shopping centre in the province. Guildford also has two sizable recreation facilities. There are several eateries and natural walks including Tynehead Park. It's a very centralized area in Surrey, very close to Surrey Central, and a quick drive south of Coquitlam.

Newton

Newton is a very centrally located area in Surrey, it is the most populated town centre in Surrey and is a multi-cultural area. The Newton Seniors Centre, Newton Cultural Centre, and future Newton Community Centre are all located here. The Bell Performing Arts Centre, a sizable accessible playground, and coastline vistas may all be found in Newton. One of the biggest Vaisakhi Parades outside of India draws over 400,000 people to Newton each year.

South Surrey

Beautiful mountain and coastal views may be seen in South Surrey. Crescent Beach, huge forest areas, and two US border crossings can all be found in South Surrey. Newton expands down to Highway 10, separating the residential area from the hilly farmland. The South Surrey Athletic Park is frequently visited by artists, people who enjoy water sports and athletes. There are also several historical places nearby, including Historic Stewart Farm.

Whalley

One of Surrey's oldest communities, is located around City Centre in North Surrey. It is easily accessible by the Pattullo Bridge, and King George Highway. It has Whalley Athletic Park and Bear Creek Park, both of which are close to the Surrey Arts Centre. Rising business and residential high buildings can be found in Whalley. Additionally, there are research centres, a busy transit hub, and a ton of strollable shopping malls in this area.
